About Dr James Moran

Dr James Moran is a Fellowship-qualified General Practitioner who grew up on Brisbane's southside and completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Queensland before undertaking his medical degree at Griffith University.

He worked at Logan Hospital and the Mater Mothers', Adults' and Children's Hospitals before commencing GP training, which took him to Adelaide for two years, where he was awarded his Fellowship of the RACGP. He has also completed a Diploma of Child Health through the University of Sydney.

Dr Moran has extensive experience caring for residents in residential aged care and enjoys all aspects of general practice.

Outside work he enjoys golf, following the Brisbane Lions, and spending time with his wife and two children.
